The 13th Rhenumis Auction will take place from October 23 - 24, 2024. Starting with antiquity, you will find Celtic, Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins. This is followed by the old German coins. Among the German coins from 1871 onwards, we can offer you the only gold coin from Waldeck-Pyrmont, a 20-mark piece from 1903 minted under Prince Friedrich. The coin can be found in the catalog under number 234 with an estimate of 5,500 euros.
Among the foreign coins, lot 305 from the People's Republic of China is a very rare set consisting of five platinum coins of 25 yuan each from 1994. You can also expect a selection of rare paper money from the mid-19th century to modern and sought-after banknotes of today. The offer also includes entire series of any emergency banknotes, German occupation issues from the First and Second World Wars, particularly rare premium notes from the Second World War, and the German occupation issues from the Second World War. World War I, particularly rare premium bills from Poland and some extensive collections of banknotes and emergency money worth liquidating.
